Being a teacher, I would like to apprise you with certain values of life. While we have made tremendous advancements and innovations, the question still remains- Are we satisfied with the state of affairs today? No doubt that in this present era of cut throat competition, a lot of shrewdness and cunningness is required to survive, yet I feel and believe it strongly that honesty and truthfulness do pay in the long run. Hence a need for a value based education. Value based education enables us to understand our needs and visualize our goals and also indicates the direction for their fulfillment. It may not enable a for person to grow materially but it certainly leads us towards a feeling of complacency. Always listen to your conscience and be loyal and sincere and strive to live a fulfilling life-in harmony with yourself and with family, society and nature. Wishing you all the best.
