English

The department admits students into the programmes of B.A., B.Sc. Economics, B.Com., B.C.A. for the courses of General English, English Elective, Business Communication, Communication Skills. The courses are concerned with teaching the students the basics of English literature and various aspects of English language.

Mission :

The Mission of the Department is as Follows :

• To develop the ability to use the language effectively for the purpose of practical communication and to make them think and express ideas, sentiments in the language.
• To improve their reading and writing skill.
• To enhance their ability to communicate effectively and acquire the pronunciation of native speaker by means of spoken English.
• To strengthen student’s ability to analyze, interpret and evaluate all forms of literary expression.
