Scholarships and Stipends
Fee concession up to limit of 10% on half rate of the total enrolment in each case is granted only in the case of really deserving and promising students. Application for fee concession must be submitted on prescribed form available in the office.
Special Grant to the Girl Student Belonging to Scheduled Castes
The girls belonging to Scheduled Castes (whose parents/guardians are permanently settled in Punjab State) who are pursuing their studies in a college of Punjab or Chandigarh will be given special grant provided the annual income of their family does not exceed Rs. 60,925.
Backward Classes
The prescribed application form and entitlement card which such students are required to submit can be obtained free of cost from the College Office as well as from the office of the District Welfare Officer concerned. The student should submit the application form and entitlement cards to the college along with their admission form for onwards transmission to the Director of Public Instruction (Colleges) Punjab in time.
Post Matric Scholarship Scheme of the Government of India
Scholarship will be granted to such Scheduled Caste/ Tribes students as permanently settled in the Punjab State and are pursuing their post Matric studies in any part of India provided their annual income from all sources does not exceed Rs. 2,00,000/-. SC /BC students shall be provided permissible benefits under law as provided by Pb. Govt.
State Backward Classes Welfare Scheme
Stipends are given to such backward classes students as are permanently settled in the Punjab state and pursuing their study in the college of Punjab provided the annual income of their families does not exceed Rs. 1,00,000/ –

Special Scholarship for the Meritorious Students of B.A. 1.
- Devinder Kumar Scholarship of Rs. 2100 / – every year, for the student who scores the maximum marks in aggregate in University examination. The student can be of B.A-I or B.A.-II or B.A-III. The highest scorer will get this scholarship.
- Dr. Asa Nand Bhalla scholarship of Rs. 1100/- every year for the student scoring the maximum marks in the subject of Punjabi (Elective) in University examination. The student can be B.A. I or B.A.II or B.A.-III. The highest scorer will get scholarship.
- Smt. Kulwant Kaur scholarship or Rs. 1100 / -, every year, for the student scoring the maximum marks in the subject of General English in university examination. The student can be of B.A-I or B.A.-II or B.A-III. The highest scorer will get this scholarship.
